Our specialized Advanced Spine & Core Rehabilitation Program aims to safely and effectively restore strength and stability in the spine and core muscles. By emphasizing small muscle activation and reducing the improper reliance on larger muscles for minor tasks, we can efficiently engage and strengthen the intrinsic muscles of the core and spine.

What is the Advanced Spine & Core Rehab Program?
The specialized equipment’s carefully designed limited range of motion is critical for effective spine and core rehabilitation by isolating the four planes of motion. Preventing larger muscles from overcompensating ensures that movements are executed correctly and within safe limits. The program repatterns segmental movement in the lumbar spine, and distributes the total load throughout all five lumbar vertebrae, and increases activation of the often neglected multifidi muscles. This approach not only promotes muscle activation in the correct sequence but also enhances the recovery process, allowing for more targeted and effective rehabilitation of core strength and spinal stability.

What to expect from Advanced Spine & Core Rehab Program?
The Spine/Core Rehab program requires a time commitment, but it is worth every minute. It is scheduled twice a week for 12 weeks, with appointments lasting 45 minutes. Depending on progress, some patients may reduce their sessions to 30 minutes in the latter half of the program.
A member of the therapy team guides patients through a series of exercises using specialized machines. These one-on-one sessions provide an individualized experience, featuring specific cues and support throughout each appointment. Appointments are flexible; they do not have to be at a specific time of day, and patients won’t break a sweat as they do after a gym workout, making it easier to fit into a busy lifestyle. Most people leave feeling empowered, strong, and motivated after each session, enjoying their time during every visit.
In the final weeks of the program, instruction will focus on a customized home exercise plan designed to help patients maintain their progress. Once patients establish the necessary strength through the Core/Spine Rehab program, maintaining their progress at home takes only 30 minutes, two to three times a week.

Does Insurance cover this program?
Our favorite answer? It depends! Each company and each policy offers different benefits. Sometimes we can get all or a portion of your visits covered by insurance, sometimes they won’t cover at all. We have excellent cash pay rates for those whose benefits do not cover services or prefer to use their therapy coverage for other options.
